just got my tires mounted and balanced at a great price, from a great guy and while i waited..If you need tires mounted and balanced i would definitely go see anjel.....$10.00 off bike and $15.00 on (per tire) :wow :thumbup

edit: rims/tires must come in off the bike on saturdays.

The shop is at 590 Saratoga Ave, San Jose, CA 95129 (76 Gas Station) Ask for Angel, he is the smog tech there. He will mount/balance your tires using his No-Mar tire changer (motorcycle specific).

Here is the shop phone. Give him a ring: (408) 249-8700

Hours of operation are: M-F 8:30-5:30, Sat 8:00-4:00, Sunday CLOSED

Im confused - you say he will balance it using "our" balancer, but then you say you found the place.

Then you advertise for them in your sig. So do you work there, or are you the tire change guy, or whats up? That and the new sign up date doesnt make the story look so hot.

Flying Pig knows whats up it sounds like.

Yeah, I don't think he's big on the internets. But his reputation isn't too shabby around barf :thumbup
I know he'll do the same thing as MotoTireGuy in SF where you can have the tire shipped to his house.... just let him know ahead of time....

(fixed) His tire changer / balancer. Don't work there. Thought i would help spread the word for him cause it's a great deal. And i don't think my sign up date has anything to do with it....

Wow this will save me atleast $60 this summer between my new street tires I have coming and my trackday swaps. I take wheels off myself but $5 extra to remove the rim?? That's insanely cheap.

How many tires are you planning on going through in one summer? :wow
Or just lots of swapping between track & street?

Well I have one set coming this week but a track day requires two changes (street-slicks-street). That's at least 3 tire changed this summer. 5 if I do another trackday. At $40 a change it's a summer savings of $60-$100.

Cool - I get gas there all the time and I always see bikes and people in the garage. I'll have to keep him in mind as another option.

DAMNIT, at these prices, wish I didn't purchase the wheel balancer. Been searching high and low for one of those cheap Harbor Freight tire changers. Going to see if I can cancel the order for the wheel balancer now.

Sure beats $120 some Stealerships charge!! :mad:rolleyes:twofinger

Some diehard ass suckers of particular dealers will no doubt claim foul tho. I guess they think the dealers gonna give them a good deal in return..

Been waiting for my buddy to bring down his stands so I can take the wheels off, but at this rate, I might just carry the tires on my bike and ride down there to Angel =P. Does he dispose of them too?

He does not have the means of disposing the used tires. You will need to dispose of them yourself....:cool

I didnt know there was a thread here on Angel's place. I know of another Barf'er doing the same price, but his place is too far for me.

Got a set of take-offs mounted on my spare wheel last week at Angel's place. Dude is a cool guy. Also noticeable about his work, he takes great care of the rims while swapping tires. Consider me a permanent customer :thumbup ...

Thanks again for looking out for fellow riders
