Why would you worry about selling your art??? Who cares whether people buy your art or not....To my opinion, first of all, an artist does art to fulfill herself or himself. An extraordinary majority of people out there have no sense of appreciation for any kind of art. They shop at Z-gallery and they think the crap they put on the wall is the shit. Art should not be used to make money, it is a medium to express yourself, your inner part, your outlooks on the world and so on and so forth. If you start worrying about what kind of artwork can get the top dollar, that is no longer an art...that's marketing and sales. You do not want this happen to you and your work...Give your art as a gift to your friends, they will love it....

You work is very unique and beautiful....I really love the portrait of a woman with a water running through her face..very strong ...

Do you post your work on deviantart.com...It is a great site to get exposure and learn about art...

Please post more of your work...

Cheers

By the way PS is a very powerful tool, if I knew how to draw, I would do a mixed media , drawing and PS manipulation...

check this out...I love her work:

FYI: I'd never really tried to sell my works, ever.
I USED TO have a part time job doing engineering stuff that easily fed me well. But that doesn't happen anymore. The reason that I'd never tried to sell any drawing because I didn't draw enough to have a full profile. I love to keep my works for myself or used to give away to friends for birthday or randomly. I'm really not the kind that draws all day and have plenty to sell. It's just for personal enjoyment.
I'm NOT an artist (although I would love to call myself that) but right now, I'm an engineering student, full mode.
Had never thought of selling any, but now that I'm broke, things slightly change. I think it's nice to be able to just say: hey, I am thinking of selling some works, anyone? I think it's nice to be able to produce something that serves my own passion and that others may see a value in it too.
And thank you for the compliment.

You mentioned earlier that "noone wants to buy your work and it is hard to sell"....so I was referring to that...
I do not know what it is to be an artist, but you can surely call yourself one....
I personally like your work, especially drawings....that surreal glass is really cool...

a few of mines PS

wow, very nice :)
yeah, I do have plan for myself. I am thinking I may go back to school for a BA degree in fine arts when i'm done with my BS (3 more semesters)
But honestly, I'm debating because I want to get my master degree in Civil Engineering as well. Art is something I'm into and have many ppl telling me that I have the ability to pursuit it...but it's really out of my pocket right now. I do know I'm not passionate enough to make it my first choice to begin with.
For now, just do some sketching here and there.

Oh, i do want to learn how to paint with PS. But I know I need a touch pen and drawing pad thing first. The nice does cost a lot :)

Very cool stuff Sleepy. I like the embossed look on the second picture the most. Your hand drawn work is really really good too! Whether its a passion or a hobby, if you have the skills to make art that nice, keep it goin! :thumbup

Nice work Anh.I understand your trepidation about art full-time vs having a paying job as a fall-back.
I hope you are able to find the right balance that allows you to feed both the body and the soul.
