you can go to some ups buildings and deliver packages from your own car for almost 39$ an hour plus mileage. since you dont know how to do the job you could milk it and do like 40-50 stops a day. easiest money youll ever make

those people are AWESOME! i’ve been doing 100% of my shopping with home delivery, including groceries. and it’s mostly people in their own cars dropping off. whenever i catch them, i shout a thanks. love the smiles and waves i get in return. also, in the interest of creating as much opportunity for them as possible, if i need multiple items, i divide them into separate orders requiring multiple deliveries (a waste in normal times, but these are not normal times).

Deets Kyle. Wife needs work

Yeah I’d love to know how one gets $39/hr for that. I’d say that’s probably more than UPS pays its own drivers. Not going to pursue this or anything (Corvettes have a big trunk for a sports car, but would be laughable as a package delivery vehicle), but I’m really curious as to how they pay that much.

Tenured UPS drivers make that kind of money if they have been there a long time and don't get paid mileage.

That statement is somewhat accurate in that they have been paying that rate to existing UPS employees to pitch in with their own vehicles after hours to help out with the extreme load.

Source: BIL works for UPS as a driver. He was a loader and did the volunteer delivery gig before he got hired as a driver.

Thanks for the resource. My company just announced massive layoffs (3rd one in 10 months) so here we go. If anyone is looking for sourcing / supply chain / PM related work hit me up. I've spent a decent time PMing and working on analytics projects (think tableau / sql / excel) for supply chain
