Does anyone have more info on this?
A guy on an Aprilia was taken out by a falling tree branch on HWY 9 between 35 and 236.
I was heading southbound and saw a firetruck with its lights on ahead. I continued at a safe distance and came upon the scene. Both directions were backed up.
I filtered up towards the front and saw the situation being resolved. The branch was huge and completely blocked both lanes. It was hanging from a power line on one side. It took ~10 minutes for the firefighters to dismantle the thing with chainsaws and clear the debris.
The guys there said that the rider was bloodied but responsive. He was taken away in an ambulance. Does anyone know his condition?
