Aprilia Open House / Free Respol oil change / Rockridge Two Wheels Fri/Sat June 8/9

I wanted to let the forum know that you have a new service shop and a new motorcycle dealer in Rockridge now!

Rockridge Two Wheels is now five years old and up to now has been a dealer for Piaggio (Vespa) and Aprilia scooters.

We have always wanted to make the transition to motorcycles (that being where the interest and passion lies..) and Aprilia was always going to be the natural step. This seems like the right time.

To celebrate the arrival of the bikes (Tuono 139Rs and limited edition Bol D'Or RSV R), we are having an Aprilia Open House on Fri/ Sat June 8/9 from 11-7 on Friday and 11-5 on Saturday.

All are welcome and we are offering a free Repsol oil change on a first come / first serve basis.

There will be lots of things going on. Food, bevs, Arai promos, Aprilia apparel etc.

We'd be delighted to have you come by.. please forward to all your east bay biker friends.

Hey Darragh I'm the guy with the Kawasaki ZX10 that bought a black XL Arai RX-7 Corsair from you, about a year ago. I will definitely be there thanks for the heads-up and good luck on the new venture. :applause

I just came back from Rockridge Two Wheels. Some of the nicest people working there.

Paul owned the Porche/german car service shop right next to it. He also runs the service shop here. Very good guy, will go over any part of the bike w/you to make sure what he did is to your liking. He was open to us just walking through the service shop and watching everyone work on the apes and other bikes. Very nice.

Darragh runs the upfront part, being managing partner w/paul. Another nice guy, very knowledgeable and passionate about bikes in general, bue especially aprilias.

I also took the new Piaggio MP3 for a test ride and was ASTOUNDED at how it handled. Light and flickable, I took it to Tunnel road and I've never had so much confidence in going through hairpins like that. Sure, its cheating, but its TONS OF FUN.

Took the MP3 out on 24 for a little bit, just to see how it handled windblast. Hit 70mph no problem, and there was absolutely no buffeting. A great highway commuter as well.

Got some strange looks from the bicyclists up on Tunnel, but who cares! It is tons of fun.

Didn't want to be a cheapo just to get the free oil change or pizza, so I picked up 2 nice Aprilia polos at a great price.

These guys will definitely be seeing me again.

Oh and they work on ALL types of bikes.
