Debating between Monogram and Wolf to replace all four kitchen appliances.
Monogram looks competitive wrt pricing vs Wolf.
Wolf is made somewhere in mid-west which is a plus.
Longevity and reliability are key aside from function and form.

Between the two which one you have at your home?Happy with whichever one you have?

Right now we have Bosch induction top but switching to gas for cooking. Bosch has been a reliable workhorse.
LG fridge no issues so far in 4 years.

Good call getting Gas while you still can. I don't have either of those brands currently.

we have a monogram built in fridge because it was a floor model. it's been fine so far, 3 years of use and i don't know how many on display.

monogram is the lexus to ?maytag?s as toyota. might not be maytag but it's another big name.

According to Consumer Reports Wolf is among the least reliable and anecdotally the only person I know who had one hated it as hard to clean, not enough room in the convection oven but no reliability issues.

It burned up with her house and she got a "normal" brand to replace it rather than some snazzy brand.

She was a caterer prior to the fires in 2017.

Oh wow, sorry to hear about her house getting caught up in fire.

I would gladly go with 'lesser' brands however reading up about appliances it seems majority of them are now manufactured with no thought given to longevity (at least 15+ years IMO). Hoping that isn't the case with made in USA appliances.

Bosch has cooktop has been great however it has to go as we are switching to gas. Rest of our appliances are 20+ years old except fridge.

Having three rentals I talk to a lot of appliance repair guys.

Ovens/cooktops are the exception it seems with other appliances these days a 10 year life is what one should expect.

Didn't we just have a thread on this? I have a 48" Viking. Not sure if that's on your list but it's a tank. I'm shocked to hear about Wolf being unreliable. I've always heard great things about them.

No personal experience but the people I know with Wolf appliances seem to really like them. I expect there's some confirmation bias at work due to the cost.

As an alternative to consider, I have a 36" 6-burner Bluestar range that is very simple and powerful. (Bluestar is the residential version of Garland commercial stoves.) It doesn't have a lot of fancy electronic controls that are typically prone to fail, and I expect it will last pretty much forever. If you don't care about a lot of bells and whistles and are more concerned about longevity, they're worth checking out.

My apologies it was VIKING that CR said was "run away fast" in terms of reliability.

They didn't test Wolf in that style of range but of the pro style brands they tested Monogram and Kitchen Aid were the only ones that achieved "average" the rest were below with Viking the only one achieving "poor" on several models.

The ones to avoid were:
Miele, Viking, Fisher and Paykel, Haier and Jenn-Air according to the actual owners they surveyed.

I'm heading into building a new kitchen with sky's the limit budgeting. I looked at all the top brands and across the line, Monogram won hands down for me from features combination, reliability and support network.

Also, take a look at what is available and what isn't. Some brands have very spotty availability right now which may be a consideration if you have work in progress.
