Anyone up for a 3/30 ride (Saturday)

I figure most of us will be doing the family Easter thing on Sunday but some of us might be able to get away on Saturday for a blast up the Los Altos/Santa Cruz mountains.

I usually ride with a few guys up HWY9 (from Saratoga) and over 35 for a ride review/bs session at Alice's (the general store actually). Grab a drink, maybe a breakfast burrito and check out the bikes.

Then we go down 84 (La Honda Rd now???) to Pescadero. Run that road out to some farm roads and we end up at HWY1 at a gas station. Stop. Fuel up.

Run down Hwy1 (BORING) and stop for lunch at the Cafe down in Davenport (??? I think). Then we go south 1 and take a left at Bonny Doon. Run that to Empire Grade...climb that to Jamison Creek (ball buster road) which drops us on a road that leads to HWY 9 at the gas station in Boulder Creek.

Finally we ride up HWY9 (dessert) and then regroup at 4 corners to review the ride.

Let me know if ANYONE is interested. I need to get some saddle time.

Greetings Pedropat,

Usually...(depending on the amount of riders) we meet up at the 76 gas station in Saratoga and the bottom of hwy9 around 10:30-11:00AM. I am riding from Brentwood (1 hour away) so people usually give me a little leeway.

BUT, if I'm not meeting anyone there then I can make it to Alice's by around 11:00-11:30AM. If the weather is nice I might even be able to get there a little earlier.

Let me know if you want to go for a run and if you have friends please invite them. I'm always up for a ride with new people. When we meet up we can go over the ride ground rules at that time. I am flexible depending on the group, but when I am forced to lead then I play it very safe.

Hey I'm in! 11:00am would be perfect for me to meet the group at Alice's.I'm coming from Pacifica so I'll plan on meeting the you all at the deli parking lot.I have a yellow Ninja 250 with most the decals stripped off.The route sounds much like the Doc Wong ride and I had a great time on that and the weather sounds like it is going to be beautiful.My only problem is that I am not off the hook for work just yet but it is looking good.I'll know for sure Friday afternoon and I'll let you know. It looks like my riding buddies can't make it on Saturday but can make a Sunday ride - go figure. I am still trying to see if I can make the Sunday ride but if I do the wife will make me forgoe the Saturday ride.

Can you make it on Sunday? Same time? Sorry about the last minute notice but sometimes I don't get everybody's buy-in until last minute. That is one of the main reasons I want to get more buddies to ride with.
