Anyone removed their 1290 SD shock?

I need to remove my KTM 1290 Super Duke rear shock. The rear wheel is about 5 inches off the ground. I removed the bottom bolt and loosened the top shock mounting bolt. The bottom shock mount remains fixed in the swing arm despite downward pressure on the wheel to release the swing arm from the shock. There does not appear to be anything preventing the swing arm from dropping away except the unbolted shock (at the bottom mount).

Previously, I removed the top shock mounting bolt and was able to drop the swing arm enough to almost release the top shock mount from the frame tabs, so I know the top shock mount will release from it's frame tab. My problem is the bottom shock mount will not release from the swing arm. This removal process appears very straight forward but the binding has me concerned about the removal and also the reinstallation. Any help from anyone who has removed their shock from this motorcycle would be greatly appreciated.

I've read the left side bushing is floating and needs to be moved away to get clearance with a rigged bearing puller. Is that the case?
