I picked up some race plastics for the R3 for the 2019 AFM season. I've been mulling over ideas for my paint graphics and stared considering hydrodipping.
Anyone done it to your bodywork? How'd it turn out? Would you do it again? Who/where did it?
Never heard of it, sounds kind of cool. Curious to know what the durability is, compared to other options such as vinyl wraps, plasti dipping, traditional paint, etc
I've done it to a rifle stock before and while it is something you can DIY it's a huge pain in the ass to do so. And I'd imagine it only gets more difficult with larger pieces, such as bodywork.
