Just wondering. My family and I will be there for the second week. Be fun to get together for a pint somewhere. Creg na baa? The Raven? My third trip there, it's the best week ever.
Anyone going to Isle of Man in June?

Thanks Redneck. Yes, roads are quite scary to drive on. But fun. Mountain course stays one way with no speed limits for the entire weeks if I remember right. Does lead to some horrific crashes by the visitors trying their hand at going fast.

Do you fly to dub or lhr and then take a regional to Mann?
I've always meant to check the island out but never get to it.

Yeah we are flying into Dublin, spending some time in southern Ireland, then on a puddle jumper from Dublin to Douglas. Actually met Giacomo Agostini on that flight my first time to the island back in 2011. He was gracious enough to let us take a picture with him when we got off the plane in Douglas.

Oh man that's an awesome door knocker! I'm going to find one while I'm there. Make sure you get there someday. It is better than you can ever imagine. Still hoping some barf dudes will be there. Taking my wife for the first time.

No, I did all the work myself. Be interesting to see what an agency would put together, but I knew what I needed to do since I've been there before and kind of know the lay of the land.

The wife and I are going. Staying in the temporary hotels (basically a closet with bed and toilet) right next to the grandstands. Will be there superbike weekend from Friday afternoon through Tuesday morning.
Love to meet up for a beer or two!
We're also spending time in Ireland. We arrive in Dublin on Friday the 26th and leave for sfo from Dublin on Wednesday the 14th

The short flights from Dublin to IOM that we found were well over 1000£ each. By going from Dublin to London first (with a two hour layover) our tickets were less than 500£ for two

That would be cool! Definitely should grab a pint. We get in on June 4 and stay until June 12. Basically the second week, which is race week. We are staying on the other end of the island, but have a car and will of course be at the grandstands a few times. Maybe cell phones to get in touch? Emails?

My wife is an e-bay junkie. She buys anything with a cat on it. She knew what it was but the seller didn't (English seller). We got it way cheap. She tells me I have the small one, and they made a bigger one...I emailed the guys at Manx radio to ask if they were common but I never heard back. So that is all I know so far.
P.S. She also found me a cool Jimmie Guthrie shadow box memorial.
P.P.S. My wife just checked no knockers on e-bay right now.

I'll be there with a friend, first time. Flying in from SFO to Dublin and then from DUB to IOM. Price wasn't bad when i booked in January. Coming in June 2 and leaving the 9th.
Staying at the Football Club campsite. No idea what to expect, kinda winging it here. Any advice? We already have grandstand tickets for the superbike day iirc.
