Any Home Gyms Out There?

Just cleaned up my gym and figured I might as well take some pics before it gets messy again.

Here's my current setup that I've been running for the past 2 years:

~495lbs of Olympic Weights
~170lbs of Standard Plates
Dip Bar
Some Generic Olympic Bar
Homemade Axle Bar
EZ Curl Bar
Some Power Rack
T-Bar Row Attachment
Jump Ropes, Resistance Bands, Foam Roller, Chains, Etc
Some Pulley System made w/ pulleys, chain, loop bolt, and nuts
And of course much needed speakers for music

Pretty much everything was bought used off Craigslist

Here's a bonus picture of my first setup many years ago:

Wooden Power Rack I made when I was 15 with a handsaw and drill.
It served me well for a year or two but I figured I oughta upgrade once it started getting wobbly on me :laughing

Hope I'm not alone, anyone else with a home gym? Take some pics and show it off here!

Love the wooden rack! I used to have decent home gym. Bench, freeweights, punching bag and speedbag. Now I just have a adustable bench and a couple freeweights. The gym is only 3 minutes from my house though, and its nice to get away and see some of the gym honeys :teeth.

I'll play along. Having a kid made it hard for me to go to the gym to train, so I brought the gym to my house.

Squat Rack + Bench
Dip Bar + Landmine attachments for squat rack
Olympic + Curl Bar
455 lbs in weights
Resistance Bands
Powerblocks, adjustable to 130 lbs
Outslayer 6 ft heavy bag w/ double straps
ProMountings i-Beam mount for the bag
Ringside Double End Bag
Jump Ropes (thick muay thai ropes and speed ropes)
Sunny Spin Bike
Garage screen to keep the bugs out

Same as MikeyRock, parent life means I work out at odd hours ( like now at 11PM -_- ). Also having it in the garage means I can sneak a workout in while the kids nap on the weekend.

Out in the yard I have a HIIT setup with battle ropes, 100# muay thai bag and jump ropes / ect. One day if I learn to weld, I'll probably build myself a weight sled.

Unfortunately that means I miss out on all those gym honeys Diego is talking about. :(

Its Dethklok!
I’m working on a home gym. I have a stationary bike, bench, ton of free weights. I’m looking for a lat pull machine but the prices are all over the place and I don’t want to buy something crappy that’s going to fall apart in a year.

A bar on some 4x4s is cheaper and ages better than a lat machine.

I made a simple one; two pulleys mounted to the ceiling beams, a simple 36” lat bar and a 1,000lb braided rope that fits the pulleys. Several ways to add/change the weights.

I got this from Northern Lights with a 150 pound weight stack. Its good enough for my needs. I think I paid around $800-900.

I've bought this brand equipment before and its was always good quality.
