Any auto body guys here?

I have some experience painting automotive/motorcycle stuff as a hobby, stopped about 10 years ago when I graduated from college. I recently backed the back corner of my 4Runner into a concrete wall in a parking garage and scrapped the paint off. I've never done a spot repair, I always just repainted the whole piece in the past since I thought it was easier than trying to blend.

This time around I decided I didn't want to pull the whole bumper and I would just repair the damaged area. I've got the area fixed and repainted using urethane based 2 stage paint. Looks okay, my issue though is getting the area to blend with non painted areas. I have a little lip where I masked the clear. I "rolled" the tape to help it but I think I just applied the clear too heavy right up to the tape, I think I should've fanned it out a little. I was too concerned with getting good coverage and a flat finish. I'm thinking I should just wet sand the lip down with a piece of masking tape on the OEM finish side of the lip to keep from burning through that finish while sanding. Then buffing it back to a shine? In hind side I should've painted all the way to the edge where I could have to minimize this line, too late now :nchantr

If there are some people with experience on here who can help I'll post some pics of what I'm dealing with. Haven't seen it in the sunlight yet either so I might just need to start over :wtf ..

I've been posting on the Autobody forums and it seems there is no way to fix this properly. I tried sanding last night and I can get it close to where you almost don't feel it or see it. However you can see it in the reflection, you really have to look for it.

It is really hard to just sand that edge down and I did over sand.... I'm going to pull the whole bumper that what I can do it right... I think I'll wait until the weekend though.
