hmmm - mebbe an incomplete answer
I offer, "Kosman setup using H/A parts"
haha, you get a participation prize,
which is a beverage of your choice
when our paths cross ... :laughing
I think the parts for Kalle's chopper
probably came from the ads in
Biker Lifestyle magazine ...
Jon Peddicord is from Alabama, and I'm
not sure if Sandy was active in AL
in the '70s and early '80s when Jon was still riding
and maintaining the Indians that Kalle has been purchasing
from him recently ... :dunno
Do you recognize some of the brackets in the
pic as Kosman bits? That would be pretty cool! :afm199
Some pics of Jon, back in the day:
... family man ... :thumbup
... guess you can kind of date these pics from some of the
vehicles in the background ... looks mid-'80s ...?
... Chief tricks ... :toothless
... this is the most recent, 1946, Chief Jon sold to Kalle ... pic is from
a cross-country trip Jon took in the early '80s ... still has the
fiberglass tail box on the back ... Kalle hopes to recreate
a Sturgis run and an old Sturgis pic with this bike when it is back together ...
... Jon and the pre-war Chief Kalle has since restored and
recently got 99.25 points at the Dixon AMCA National this July ...
guess the pic is from the mid-'90s ...
... see if I can find any old Airhart ads on-line ...
