actually, the sad thing is that they probably do get that amount. live 105 is a decently high enough station who can take on that type of morning show.

my lil sis is in radio(used to be in the bay, now in phoenix) and morning shows are the highest paid spots.

There were a couple of east coast putzes who took over the morning show on I think it was 107.7 and their first week called out the same thing. For cars to block motorcycles and to open doors. The riding community in the bay area got together and got them kicked off the air in less than 2 weeks.

This was about 2 years ago if I remember correctly.
