Another reminder not to road rage.

Man Killed in Front of Family in Freeway Road Rage Shooting

DOWNEY -- A man is dead after he was shot in front of his family in a road rage incident on a major highway Friday night, police said.

At around 6:45 p.m. a shot was reported on the eastbound 105 freeway between Lakewood and Bellflower, according to officers from the Downey Police Department.

After reportedly exchanging words with another driver, a 28-year-old man driving with his wife and two sons, ages 4 and 5, was shot, officers said.

The man reportedly got out of his car and collapsed, while the assailant kept on driving.

After being taken to the hospital, the victim died of his wounds.

Police say they don't have a clear suspect description, only that the vehicle was a blue early 2000s model Honda Accord with tinted windows and chrome rims.

So scary to think of the some of the exchanges I've had on the road myself. I'm sure a lot of us can look back at times where it could have been you, too.

The answer is clear, the kids should have stuffed their fingers in the bullet holes. Then daddy wouldn't have had to die. Kids fail. :thumbdown

Had one in Phoenix '08?, some crazy pissed guy starts hollering at another at a light. So the second guy, against the advice of his wife next to him gets out and walks over to the instigator. The crazy guy "fearing for his life" pulls a gun and kills him. The way the law reads, the crazy guy will walk unless he fails a drug test. My take, crazy = tweeker.
