Was just thinking about the american presence in international competition these days (or lack thereof) so I started prowling around trying to find anyone. And I came across young Brandon Kyee!

I don't know much about this young man other than he is 16, is a Californian and is racing in the World Superstock 600 series this year for Schacht Racing. Word is he is a very talented rider and has a shot to do big things.

So now we have Anthony AND Brandon livin the dream and racing on the world stage. Best of luck, boys. I'll be rootin hard for you, and I'm sure I won't be alone.

Excellent! This is a great oppurtunity and could lead to much bigger things if he does well there. Great find! Thanks. :thumbup

He's on BARF. SN 'brandon'. He posts in trackdays/racer's corner.

Very cool. I'll have to go there more often. Sometimes I get too hung up in the General area!

It's just nice to see some of the local kids gettnig a shot and making a go of it.

Man that's the sad truth. Seems that if you are a young american rider and show any promise at all, you better get yourself to Europe as soon as you can before you miss your window. I don't see that changing any time soon, either.

I have found a couple more promising youngsters - Chris Kosan out of Florida and Alex Wisdom out of Missouri, both competing in the European Junior Cup this year. Go on, Boys! :laughing

No shit?! I hadn't seen anything about him going to a world series. That's awesome!

Ah, that's why, it was posted in Racer's Corner, but I rarely go in there because several guys get very territorial if you post there but aren't a racer...

I hear ya Dave. I read sometimes, but I don't post there. That's OK, I'm cool with that. We have our couch racer's area now, the place where I belong! :laughing

Jayson Uribe is another young man from California that is in Europe this season and participating in the BSB series.

He and his family are great people and I am sure they would love as many 'Merican's supporting them as possible.

GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF OUR COMRADES DOING BATTLE OVERSEAS this season!

We helped Brandon for two years actually. Nice young man with a cool family. I wish I was Bill Gates because I would sponsor all the young guns :teeth

As kids move up sponsoring cost more and more so it becomes difficult to continue. Tyler Linders was another awesome young man we helped a bit. It actually is great to help, but sad too because you have to say I can't eventually. :(

I wish Brandon and Tyler mad success and good times.

Brandon, nice kid. Came up to me once while I was loading up my bikes on my trailer at my house. He said "nice bikes". I had no idea who he was :cool

Found out later on that he raced SBK on a KTM :wtf

He also has a FB page under Brandon Kyee Racing. "like" him.

Very talented and nice kid. Great folks too. Would be nice if we can donate towards his endeavors.

I can't follow and cheer these boys long enough to even come close to the level of support you've already given them. :thumbup

:ride Thank you Tim for always keeping Jayson in the headlines. I realize that we have been one of the younger Americans racing overseas, but we sure have had our share of excitement, struggles, and fantastic memories already!!

We are so grateful for the support shown by all of the fellow BARF riders, you are all awesome!!! Thank you! :thumbup. Go USA!!
