Andrea Mitchell and MSNBC, media?

Did anybody see Andrea Mitchell interrupt Rep. Jane Harman (Dem. CA) live on MSNBC while discussing National Security to go to "breaking news out of Florida?" HEre it is :laughing I'm thinking more and more Noam Chomsky was right about the media---sad but true

I wouldn't go so far as to say Chomsky is wrong here, but I do think the mainstream infotainment media provides a product it's consumers want. For people so inclined, there are plenty of ways to get news from multiple, non-mainstream sources.

There's also a pretty clear indication that it's not entirely passive as Chomsky's thinking would pretend. The whole 60 minutes NSA reporting shenanigans is one such example.
