Anyone been to Anchor & Hope on Minna near 2nd?
Thinking of taking the family up to SFMOMA and then to A&H for dinner.

And will we be able to find parking in the Moscone Center Garage at around 2 tomorrow?

Took my wife and her friends there for dinner two years ago. we've been back since. Good spot.

Don't know about parking

Not conveniently located near the SFMOMA, but Pacific Cafe way out on Geary in the 30ish avenues is probably worth the drive.

I love that place. Great food, but their dweeby kitsch decor reminded me so much of seafood places where I grew up in Sonoma County.

Luckily for me, they give complimentary wine to those waiting for a table. Perhaps I am wrong, but I did not consider their decor as being kitsch because they have been in business since the mid 70's, as far as I know.

For me it was the photos of "Look at how our awning got knocked down in this huge storm in the 80's" that reminded me of home. I lived in a place that god flooded a lot, so longtime businesses had photos up of how they weathered the storm.

It's a charm at most san francisco restaurants just can't muster.

I wouldn't go back unless it was for drinks, oysters, and appetizers.
My sole was done well but the wife had a shrimp Louis salad and daughter had fish'n'chips. Salad was just...salad and batter on fish was so thick it was crisped goo. The soups were good as was the mac'n'cheese appetizer.

We had a good time at SFMOMA. Liked the Sublime Seas video exhibit and nearly everything on the second floor. I could have spent an hour or so on that floor alone. And I need Rauschenberg's Mud Muse for when life gets too heavy. It's burbling was hypnotically soothing.
