(MAYWOOD) Proviso East High School in west suburban Maywood was temporarily put on lockdown Thursday after someone reported seeing a knife on campus.

The lockdown was instituted about 11 a.m. by the Cook County sheriff’s office, according to a statement on the Proviso Township High Schools District 209 website.

The premises were secured and the allegations proved to be unfounded, according to the statement.

“All students, faculty, and staff are safe,” the statement said.

The high school will have additional security and law enforcement at dismissal as a precaution.

WTF? What do these people do when they go to a restaurant? Butcher shop? Cooking store? Target? etc etc

Because I'm basically though not technically white, I am not allowed to point out non-white cultures that just might be crazier. Because then I'd be RACIST!

I think Europeans or Euro-Americans are the most successful at organized warfare and killing for abstract purposes or principles. I'll go with that. I think it goes back to baggin mastodons or something. They got together and made a plan and it worked.

But no, there are some batshit-crazy things goin on and being believed around our beautiful globe through history. And they ain't all by the melanin challenged.
