Well I'm getting a little nervous here boys lol I put in a new battery today and after some struggle with getting the screws tight, I'm not getting zilch! I'm hoping I didn't fry my bike somehow .. I did touch my screwdriver from positive to the frame and there was sparks but it was minor .. I yanked on the neg cable a little square away but I'm sure neg went to neg and pos to pos. I did connect Neg first then Positive (woops) but would that fry my bike? I wouldn't think. I'm so worried cause I know this is a simple matter, and I'm not finding anything.

I checked fuses and they're all good, sparks would indicate the battery is fresh yes? I just got it in the mail yesterday. I'm about to go buy new multi meter and start testin, but any ideas? Any ideas greatly appreciated, minor panic mode right now lol

Most bikes have the fuse box and then another big fuse by itself on the side of the battery box or close to it. Might want to look a little closer.
And how did you check the fuses if you don't already have a multimeter?

Visually?:wtf

As stated, look for a separate main fuse. Most likely your culprit after grounding out like that. Also, most suspect if you have a total loss of power.:thumbup

I've heard that so many times over the years. "The fuses look fine." :laughing:laughing:laughing

Don't waste time just *looking* at a fuse. It can look fine and still be blown. Use a test light or an ohm meter. Then you'll know.
