I do my best. I'm just really not a fan of really big events like this. I'm sure it'll be fun, but I tend to prefer small groups in more remote places, whenever possible.

Also: when are we going dirt riding, Jason? You can smoke me and repay me for my attitude in your thread. :) I really did stop reading when it talked about roads. After reviewing the 2013 vids and poking around a bit more, it does sound like a pretty good time. I'm still booked, though.

Funny that's just what I had in mind. :teeth After the rain starts, things will get to be a lot more fun, I think. As a kid, I used to ride for days straight in the loam and moss, blackwater at times... so this hard pack dirt at Metcalf and Hollister doesn't really feel like dirt riding to me. Later in the year, I'd like to trailer up to the Northern OHVs. I'll let you know.

Yeah, the hard pack stuff is interesting. I grew up in NM riding sand and clay most of the time. That said, I suck at dirt these days, but I'm starting to get some of my skill back. It's a slow process, as I am much more concerned about falling than I used to be. :laughing
