didnt have chance to get a pic of the car flying up the hill going then not even braking and flying right off the cliff. if the wall is turn 1 this was the turn 2 right after it to the left. maybe turn 3 i dunno if the wall is a track yet or not??

me and my date were quite shocked! :shocker

Sweet zombie jesus! Was it a suicide, perhaps? that lot's a popular turn out for autos. Sounds almost intentional. Check the local news websites...

I came up in the aftermath. All the firemen were just hangin' around taking pictures off the cliff with their point-and-shoots. I suspect either dude driving was fine, or had already been rushed to the ER. Saw police motos driving away from the scene with no lights as well.

Could you tell if he was by himself? Maybe he was getting road-knob, and got distracted. :dunno

Edit: I just noticed the time. I came by well after that, and emergency was still there, so it must not have faired well for the driver.

yikkies i dunno we got on my bike and got out of there...

looks like whoever was in the car had a buddy in another car with them driving behind them

def not racing? not sure tho i was looking at the view with a girl and heard it only

the driver didnt really brake all of much... by the sounds of it

meh.
Probably didn't know the road too well and took the turns too fast for his own good that late at night. Grizzly peak lacks a lot of signwork and guardrail on that stretch right past the wall.

Hope the dude's alright, and that he learned a damn good lesson from this.

My dad drove by and saw the aftermath. He called me to make sure it wasn't me who launched, since I ride Grizzly almost every day.

I appreciated his worry but was a bit insulted that he'd take his own flesh and blood for the kind of knob to just ride off a cliff without good reason.
