As mentioned above,

7-8 passenger with any kind of room, comfort and ability for non paved roads, a Suburban or Yukon XL is the only option. All the others the 3rd row seat is designed for a 10 year old.

Minivans are great for 8 passengers but youll be stuck to paved roads and no potholes.

I'd love to have that 4x4 sprinter I linked in diesel and not have more than 2 kids. All kinds of room to haul things.

Fools are slipping!

Get a used 4x4 Sprinter. Seats 12.

Not sure why you would lift it then leave crummy tires on it and those side steps that would get you buried in the sand or caught on a boulder. Seems like someone was trying for looks rather than practicality.

Yukon XL are going for cheap it seems these days.

I see 4 lights!
If you want something other than the typical SUV type:

Ford Flex. A lot less money that typical SUVs. Decent power and fuel eco.

Seats 7. Low get in height, not an attention getter, comfortable seating with a lot of cargo room.

The questionable roads thing means at least it is a road correct? Through good tires on it. If questionable road means no road...
