360-degree cameras

I love my GoPro and how it is built like a tank but I am looking at 360-degree cameras so I can record all around me, including me! (I am really good looking) Anybody mount them to a bike? They don't seem to have the protection that GoPro has, both impact and weather protection. Am I going to have a $300 brick once a 70mph pebble hits it?

That's why I wouldn't consider one. Every video you see with these it looks like pretty poor quality and worse at higher speeds.
