3-D Map of Sierra Nevada Passes - Cool!

Well, I just finished this map after several hours of working on these upgrades to my Highway 108 webpage . And put together a sort of photos page since I had so many. Thought I'd share. There are several fantastic photos shot by BARF members here too! If you've never ridden these passes, they are simply amazing!

My first thought when looking at this map is which one should I ride first. Anything below 4000 feet is open year round.

I rode Hwy4 in September and all I can say is........Tasty!

You get your fast sweepers, your tight and slow, the ups and downs and all of that great scenery!

hate to point this out.... but on the first map it is wrong. ebbitts pass is on highway4 and sonora pass is on highway 108. I ride and live in the area. mountain ranch road to west point is a good year round ride (unless it is snowing)

Oop! You're right. Um, I'm blind in one eye. It was late. There was a power outage, a full moon, no it was the dog's fault. Oh well. Thanks for pointing that out! What would I do without everyone checking my work! :laughing

Dont worry, both passes are closed for the season and that should give you 5 to 6 months to fix it. I hiked from ebbitts to sonora pass 6 weeks ago, it was nice.... nobody on the trail at all.
