....if it is at that intersection, it's not a nice piece of road- about the only place near there with a 'cliff.' I'd still say it is closer to Lib'Mo than D'Ville, although I think the county line is not too far and that makes the difference.

LIVERMORE — A Livermore man was taken to the hospital this morning after the motorcycle he was riding veered off Collier Canyon Road and into a drainage ditch.

The 49-year-old ¿man was found next to a Harley Davidson in the ditch about a mile and half south of Highland Road, said California Highway Patrol Officer Steve Creel.

He was taken to Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley for treatment of what appeared to be minor injuries.

The crash is being investigated as a possible driving under the influence case, Creel said.
