24 Hours of Lemons - Sears Pointless?????????

What's going on my West Coast friends, it's been a long time since I have posted on this forum and for good reason (I have been crying living in TX :cry)!
Walking into a store and walking out with a gun doesn't even come close to the absolute lack of anything resembling a decent road or elevation.

But I digress, any Barfer's racing Sears Pointless March 6-7??? I will be truly disappointed if the answer is no! My team, based in Oregon, finished out first race at LeMons ARSE-FREEZE-APALOOZA (THUNDERHILL) and will be heading back to the gay area with a vengeance! Here are a few pics http://www.flickr.com/photos/45038392@N04/sets/72157622880740228/

So who is going to be there??????????????????????

My driving partners had mad lines at T-Hill! :rofl

What the shit is this...
Respect for the creative approach. I always thought the infield might contain a valid line, but never had the nerve to try it.

I bet you recognize my car. :(

We'll be back at the T-Hill race, sans a bunch of bent bodywork.

can you just lop the top off and fix the roll bar, or do you have to try to pull the roof out?

I already cut off the roof aft of the main hoop. We'll probably also cut off the front of the roof carefully, replace the whole cage, and weld it back on. The more annoying damage is actually the engine. The nose hit the ground while upside down and shoved the motor through the hood and cracked the valve cover. The cam chain jumped little bit so we need to re-index it and check the main bearings for damage from running without oil. Leakdown test shows good, so I think we got lucky and didn't hit a piston.

I definitely remember seeing your car on it's roof, sucks that you flipped but I am glad to hear it will be back!

Budman that is awesome that you will be out there, you will definitely have a fun time and it will be great to catch up. LeMons racing is addicting! I'm sure we'll see you at T-hill too!

Yana I'm still rolling my Husky, you should roll out to the races and enjoy the hilarity. I've found a few twisties in TX, even 20 mph turns :wtf:|

EDIT: Nevermind, that's the same weekend as the Homestead-Miami Grand Am race. I wish GA would ask for my input on the schedule. A race that conflicts with a LeMons race near my house? Unbelievable.

If anyone needs a driver, I'd LOVE to do a Lemons race!!! I love endurance races and have a bit of driving experience ;) (check my website for resume).
