2018 Pit-Ho Spring Rally - April 13-15


BARF'ers, we're happy to present you with a new rally spot:

Taft is an old California oil town on the Southwestern side of the San Joaquin valley near Buttonwillow and the Carrizo Plain National Monument. We have found accommodations that are clean and reasonable in price :2cents:thumbup
The people in town are friendly and there's a lot of fantastic riding both on and off road. That's bullshit. There is a TON of fantastically awesome riding of all kinds in all directions! You want to do this.

Stoked... Taft will open up roads to the South that I have a little experience on, but sure look forward to doing on Saturday.

HWY 1 won't be open yet, but there are still fun rides to get down that way that include Rossi's Driveway and the all consuming HWY 58 along with HWY 25 etc on the front end.

Big thanks to two wheel tramp for scouting the location. Compared to Paso this will be a much more economical place to stay and they have a banquet room right next door with a podium for our hugely entertaining speech and power point by Chill... :p

Lots of ADV fun to be had too.

OK we won't be doing a power point... but we will have a damn good time! :ride :party :ride :party :ride

stoked that we're going to rally there. rooms will set our members back about $70 for a double each night. way more reasonable than Paso, lots of great riding: Hudson Valley, Lockwood, etc. Plus Carrizo. How I love Carrizo. Even derping around the oil derricks is a hoot!

Crap we try to miss AFM events but your the only rally regular that goes. Small mistake. Come over for dinner?

No biggie, I miss the spring one for one reason or another on a consistent basis anyway!

Normally once I am at the track I stay at the track but this could change my mind.
