Thanks, Budman! :thumbup

Jus' doing my part to help getting people out to the track. At 50+yrs young, I'm still doing it :ride

BIG Thanks goes out to Allen (TWINRYDER), whom has been working very hard to not only keeping Stockton Lil99 open for us to ride, but other local tracks too (Dixon and Atwater). Moreover, providing a place and Race Series for our Youth riders / Racers. As you know, they are the next generation of potential Pro to Elite riders. We need Americans on the World Grid :flag

Lastly, I'm proud to say that Cali (NorCal) has produced some of the top riders on our current grid, and over the years.

What's the cost for spectators?
Is there a schedule for race day?

Not sure. I know Stockton has a $10 spectator fee. I imagine it would be the same.

No set schedule, other than the track opens at 7a, and that first practice starts at 9a. Lunch is usually before the start of the Heat (if applicable) or Main races.

As far as class schedule, depends on turnout. They will schedule the class(es) race day accordingly; 1st practice, 2nd practice (qualifier), Heat, then Main ... IIR

What a fun race weekend! If you had not attended, you missed out!!!!

In summary, for me, the Thunder class was really fun to watch. It was a mix of XR100's (and alike), Kayo 125's, Grom's, and a Z125. There were probably about 15 bikes on the race grid.

65 class; there too had some pretty good racing

Then Formula; a mix of big motor Super-moto's and assorted sport bikes (R3 and Ninja 300's).

My race day? Well, it wasn't my best. Being my track / race bike is a KX65 (configured for road racing), I participated in the Formula 5 and 65 Pro classes.

Practice sessions, I had a lot of cobwebs to shake off, and my rear tire was near the end of life. Although, it got me through the race day.

I felt I put in my best laps during the Heat / qualifying for both classes, which gridded me 3rd.

As for the Mains; I sucked. My race starts are horrible! and was my set-back. I had to play catch up and stayed on the throttle just enough to maintain rear grip, within the tighter corners. I did well enough to crawl up the field, but really wanted to chase the two fastest kids, Travis Horn and Evan Alexander.

Here are a few pix to share. As I receive more from Allen, I will post up.
