If you can only manage a hall pass for two days, no problem – book a room for Saturday, and ride out to Hawthorne for the event’s BBQ dinner celebration that evening. On Sunday, enjoy some company for riding some of the best twisties in California. Come and meet your fellow BARFers and BARFettes. Come for the fun and company.

Your responsibilities

Sign-in and Check-in
Be aware that we do have a sign-in/check-in policy. Please refer to the Participant’s Package when it becomes available.

Early Departure
If, for any reason, you decide to depart early from the rally, you must notify a rally coordinator, or ask another participant to relay your intent to a rally coordinator.

What’s a Rally?
This is not an organized or guided group-riding event. There are no designated leads or sweeps. This is a rally with pre-determined routes, common points-of-interest and destination for the participants. The daily starting point and time are provided to allow the participants the greatest opportunity to enjoy the company of other BARFers and BARFettes along the way for the duration of the rally. Participants are free to band into groups of their choosing, and at their own risk.

You are responsible for yourself
Riding a motorcycle is dangerous. You are responsible for your own safety. Proper riding gear, a valid CDL/M1, vehicle registration and proof of insurance are highly recommended. You are also responsible for the good operating condition of your motorcycle. The good condition includes general mechanical condition, as well as the condition of wear items such as chains and sprockets, brake pads, and tires. In short, YOU are the Captain of your own ship.

Expenses
You are responsible for your own expenses. Budget for lodging, entrance fee(s), gas, food, beverages, and anything you may need along the way accordingly.

Room booked. Nothing poolside available. I wonder if there's another group in town that weekend. Anyway, the lady said that the North section room are all freshly remodeled. That bodes well. :thumbup

I just booked too. Northside only. Poolside all booked, "fishy", but she did say if I wanted a poolside room, I can get it at a non BARFer price of $80+ a night. What kind of BS is that?

That sucks, Roger. She didn't tell me that. She just said that poolside was not available. Whatever. We'll just take of the other side this year. No biggie.

She said our group rate wasn't for poolside rooms, seems pretty basic math - discount rate does not equal "premium/poolside" rooms :shrug I'd rather have renovated anyways. The furthest room is a 1 minute walk from the pool.
