Good time to thank Hal, the owner of Joe's for hosting us and Logan and Oscar from Burkes BBQ. ( I am amazed at the lack of BBQ food pics :wow). Just goes to show peeps were eating. :drool. :thumbup

Next year I will have a couple day wonder before and suggest others do the same.
Get your buds and make it a 5 day or 7 day or ???

Congrats to Rick and Karen on their 2955 mileage to get to Hawthorne beating out Ian our usual 2500 mile Canadian King. :applause

Great times, great photos and best of all great people! Thanks again to the organizers for such a fantastic rally! I didn't take many pics but here are the few that I got. I also got some video of the girls trike race which I'll put together soon.

Here is the motley crew of riders the Veef rode with.

Phil1000rr, Lunchbox, Myblunt and Hoho. Great bunch of guys!

After Lunchbox rescued Crazygenius with the tow from hell up Hwy 4, we had lunch at Mt View BBQ.

After each order they asked us for a name.
When Crazygenius was asked. We gave him a new name.

Henceforth, Crazygenius shall be known as.....

Because of some road closures due to a fire we had to back track and take the northern route by Walker lake to get to Hawthorne. We didn't get in until 8:30 as we escorted Lunchbox to town with a toasted clutch that wouldn't let him go over 50 mph unless it was downhill.

Lots of bugs by Walker lake and it took all my will power to not try and smear the bug guts on my face shield.

Bugs guts are a PITA
