There is some serious hauling ass going on there.. :thumbup

Nice ride Alan... right out of the gate.. :applause
Passed a hell of a lot of dudes...!

Best wishes for success!!!!! Go Get em!! :port :ride

I can only imagine how much bigger Alan's balls got this year riding there :laughing

Some of those corners where your brain is going "NO!" and the throttle hand is saying "YES!" is amazing. :shocker

At one point late in the video you can see/hear him get a bit flustered after blowing a corner and getting close to the wall. I would have parked it and walked home :laughing

Just watched it all the way through. That looks like Waterworks. What's impressive is that he recovers, then picks off two bikes going up the hill, including one that's a 748 or 916! Going uphill! :thumbup

Is that an SV he's riding? It looks like he's out there with classic bikes and 400's, and he's carrying some real speed in places, including what sounded like top gear through Ballagarey (AKA, Ballascary). :applause Respect.

Yes, he's riding an SV in supertwins class. I think that class starts with the lightweights class (which he rode last year)

What's amazing is that he is 2 minutes off 1st place. 2 minutes in 38 miles?! :wow That's just a few slower bikes in front of you and a few brake markers difference right there.

Practice cancelled today AGAIN so have not been on course since Friday. Managed a small test session at Jurby yesterday to stretch the new chain and work on suspension issues.
Tim was killed in the right hander just before Black Hut up on the mountain.
The next time on course will be to race tomorrow afternoon/evening. Today is all classic races then the Newcomers race after 6pm when my other team mate Jack Hunter will be making a winning bid. I hope to do a pit board for him at Signpost corner.
Sorry for not updating here, bandwith is limited and time on the computer

Jack finished 6th tonight.

My race number for tomorrow got changed from #93 to #43 so that I will be starting way further up the order. So hopefully I can get a tow around and break the damm 100mph average lap time :)

he got his 100mph lap on the second lap, but yellow flags on the last lap cost him. He finished 30 seconds out of getting his TT replica :( He finished 26th from his starting position of 43 :party

Well done Alan!
