Hi y'all,
This is another bike I picked up at auction, was dying to try the new Pani chassis. This bike needed the 15k mile service (valve check, which involves basically disassembling the whole bike). Service / upgrades I performed:
- 15k mile valve check (all were in spec, documented with pictures)
- Spark plugs, air filter, oil and filter change
- Radiator / cooling system flushed, new squirter unit / thermostat, fresh distilled water + water wetter
- Bike has OEM muffler on it now, I also have a cored OEM muffler that will go with it (VERY loud)
- TuneBoy ECU flash tuner - to switch maps with the cored exhaust if desired
- Race Seats tank extension and custom seat
- New chain
- New levers
- Steering bearings replaced and upgraded to needle bearings
- New side fairings - they were just lightly scratched when I acquired the bike
- Front forks inspected for straightness and refreshed (oil and seals) at Catalyst Reaction
- Front triples, steering stem, and axle sent to Gerry at GP for inspection (straight)
- Flushed front brake, rear brake, and clutch
- Sag and suspension set up for 170# rider - test rode it at Thunderhill for a shakedown, awesome bike
- Clear clutch cover
- Rear fender eliminator
- New Dunlop Q3+ tires and a set of Pirelli slicks with 50%+ life remaining (buyer to choose what they want mounted, both included)
Bike is currently at ~19k miles. Salvage title on hand - NOT the certificate but actual title, the bike went through the whole process already (CHP inspection, DMV application) and is registered / titled (paid all fees, it's currently on non-op).
Asking $9k for everything, I can keep the carbon fiber tank extension / seat unit, slicks, and cored exhaust to reduce the price a bit.
