SOLD!
Asking $7000 OBO, 1% to BARF, free delivery.
Below is the Craigslist listing for my bike. I purchased this bike in May of 2016 from another BARF member that purchased the bike from the original owner. Jim at Catalyst Reaction installed the Andreani cartridges and the Nitron shock, did the valve clearance adjustment, oil changes, and sprocket and chain installations at my request. I live in Bend now and just had the valve clearance check completed by the local KTM dealer (Cascade Motorsports). I have the Certificate of Origin showing delivery from Austria to California as well as the original California license plate.
Immaculate, expertly maintained, always garaged 2013 KTM 690 Duke. Ready to ride, licensed in Oregon through November 2018. Valve clearance check just completed by Cascade Motorsports, tires are like new, oil change isn't due for 2500 miles! All original parts are included: passenger pegs, stock levers and foot controls, stock hand guards, seat and passenger seat, etc.
Current mileage 12,572
VIN VBKLDT407DM758850
Upgrades include:
Shorai lithium ion battery + Shorai battery tender
Andreani fork cartridges - fully adjustable (compression on the left, rebound on the right) sprung to ~185lb rider weight
Nitron shock - fully adjustable and sprung to ~185lb rider weight
KTM Powerparts seat
KTM Powerparts rear sets
KTM Powerparts race shift and brake linkage
KTM Powerparts frame crash guards
KTM Powerparts fork and swingarm sliders
KTM motorcross hand guards
KTM Powerparts windscreen
Oberon race foot pegs
Evotech fender eliminator
Evotech radiator guard
R/G passenger peg block off
Pazzo shorty adjustable brake and clutch levers
Renthal FatBar handlebar
Rear rack (you can run the seat cowl, passenger seat or the rack for bags, etc.)
~1000 miles ago:
oil change (half the recommended service interval)
Michelin Pilot Power 3 tires
Superlight sprocket and countershaft sprocket)
Chain
Extras:
Pit bull front stand
KTM rear stand
Trackside front wheel chock
KTM plastic hand guards (stock, white)
KTM plastic hand guards (white, replacement for existing orange guards, screw onto aluminum hand guard bar)
quart Motorex 10W/60 fully synthetic oil
quart Motorex coolant
Owners manual, all receipts and detailed log book of all work completed on the bike. This bike has always been stored inside, on the battery tender and on both stands with tires off the ground. I have never had an issue withe the bike, it runs and rides great and needs absolutely nothing. This is not your typical Duke! The handlebar is lower and mounted in the forward position. The foot pegs are higher and back. Light, fuel efficient (up to 135 miles per tank!) and a blast riding canyons and twisty roads. You won't find a more dialed 690 Duke. The suspension upgrades cost ~$1800 and makes this bike ride unbelievably well.
