Hello! I purchased this bike brand new in August of 2013. It is the best motorcycle I've ever owned. I've been debating for some time on whether or not to give up riding all together and I think the time has come. Simply put, my baby girl needs me more than I need to ride motorcycles.
Miles = 7,543 (will go up a bit)
Price = no longer for sale! (Keeping it)
If you're looking for this bike I probably don't need to tell you about. It's powerful AND comfortable! This is the ST (Sport Touring) model, and that comes from the factory with luggage, insanely hot headed grips, powerful LED headlights, and the list goes on. In fact, the most impressive part about this bike is the skyhook suspension. It is absolutely incredible.
Mostly stock but here are the aftermarket stuff that's included:
-Ducati Permance crash bars
-Speed moto rear axle slider
-Radiator guard (EP I think)
-Oil cooler guard
-touratech large footprint kickstand
-Front fender extender (not installed)
-Ducati handlebar bag
-Pitbull stand
-Rear wheel socket (a quality one)
-additional spanner wrench that actually works for eccentric chain adjustment
-front axle alignment tool
-extra oil filter (although I've only ever used Ducati brand oil filters which is why this is extra)
All of the small issues that need to be sorted have been sorted on my bike:
-Latest gas tank from Ducati that's coated and *shouldn't* expand
-Fuel level sender (version D)
-Both recalls have been address (skyhook wiring and throttle cable)
-rear brake is bled properly and worked well for ~4k miles
The good:
I've kept this bike well maintained and I have the records to prove it. 600 miles service and additional oil+fluid change at 3600. I have all the manuals, keys, receipts for parts, tool kit, you name it. The bike has never more dirty that it is right now (those pictures were taken yesterday). The rear tire has ~250 miles (I recently got a flat), and the front has about ~3k on it. It is going in for the 7,500 mile dealer service hopefully next week.
The bad:
In a moment of stupidity I parked the bike in Neutral on a slight downward slope. :mad It tipped over and scratched the left luggage and crash bar. I replaced the luggage cover and you see pics of the damage of the crash bar below. Some Monkey at unnamed Marin county moto shop (not Hattar/speedshop) put a scratch in rear wheel during a tire change! :mad. Otherwise it is a very clean bike.
No test rides unless you hand me the full asking price in cash.
