I think the Mayan calendar marks 2012 as the end of the world. Some people are idiots so they're getting all uppity about it.

I have the book "Edgar Cayce Companion" that is a compilation of a lot of his work and readings. But ironically, I've never read it. I bought it because I was doing research on Ra at the time for a paper.

I'm pretty intrigued by ancient knowledge, but as a scientific person I don't put a lot of weight in such predictions.

Could happen, but not any more likely than it is to happen on any other day.

I'm not that worried that Maya could count to whatever number and that number + their current date = arbitrary date.

I mean heck, if they were that good predicting the future, they'd still be here.
