2008 Yamaha R1 track bike.
Probably has around 6000 miles on it. Bike was cartwheeled at Thunderhill in 2010, replaced the frame, swingarm, wheels, forks and triple clamps, and gauge cluster. Bought new in 2009, clean title originally registered in Florida, but never registered in California. Hasn't been registered since 2010 I think. Frame has no VIN numbers on it, but I have the receipt for the frame when I bought it from San Jose Yamaha. I think you have to take it to CHP to have them stamp numbers in it if you so desire, but I never did. Bike has an Ohlins shock recently freshened by Jason Hauns, Dynojet quickshifter, Power Commander, ECU flash, smog plate, Arata full ti pipe (one canister is rashed a bit), Brembo master cylinder, stainless brake lines, new front rotors. Bike is decently fast. Did 54's at Thill and won the 2010 AFM Clubman Heavyweight championship with average rider on board.
Damage: The race tail section is basically garbage, it's hanging on with a lot of duct tape, the seat needs better mounting too, the brackets are broken. Note: I do about 3 trackdays a year with it like this and it's fine. The tank has a huge dent in it from the crash. Does need tires.
Generally the bike's been fairly well taken care of (aside from the cartwheel). Oil changed after every 3 trackdays, Repsol full synthetic, brakes bled, chain in good shape, good douching every season, etc.
Have all the original, virgin street bodywork, and all the original parts I took off it, like front fairing mount, lights, stock pipe, etc.
1999 Yamaha R1 street bike.
Something like 28k miles I think. I bought it 3 years ago or so with like 23k and replaced the forks (pitted), rotors, and calipers, and did a valve adjustment. Oil changed regularly. Clean California title in hand, but I have never actually registered the bike. I'm not sure how that will affect you when you go to register it. Bike runs good, Akrapovic full pipe I think. Jason Hauns just redid the forks and shock about a year ago (1000 miles tops since then). Has some scuffs on the right fairing where previous owner dumped it in the driveway.
