******SOOOOLLLDDDDD******
Hello! Selling my 2008 r6 with only ~1840 miles.
I used it primarily as a track bike (with all of the street fairings packaged nicely in boxes in my garage) and unfortunately I DID put it down @ turn 6 at infineon. I replaced the gas tank, right clip on, windshield, fairing stay, and some other small bits, but I had fiberglass track fairings on at the time so it wasn't too bad. I also had the frame checked by GP frame and wheel and he said it was perfectly straight (in case you were worried).
The only modification on the bike is the stainless steel brake lines.
Last week, I replaced all of the fluids on the bike, and it is good to go. It has been fully converted back to a street bike, and is registered as soon as the DMV's website is up again and accepts my insurance (bastards!).
The good:
-low miles
-runs great!
The bad:
-I did put it down at the track once
-Big scratch on the swingarm BUT I have a replacement swingarm without a scratch that I can GIVE YOU if you purchase the bike
-The radiator is bent from the accident, but it works fine, and does not leak, so I decided not the replace it. Makes it a little hard to get the belly pan on, but not a huge deal.
-Not sure how long the battery will be good for because it is a few years old.
Please PM me if you are interested in the bike, I will try and reply same day, but might be the next day.
If I remember anything else relevant to put on, i will add info.
I am not in a huge hurry to sell, so I will start with an asking price of $6300
edit: there are also some lighter scratches on the front fender, may be able to buff them out. The seat has a small tear on the side of it. Bike has a (woodcraft?) replacement engine side cover (shown in picture on left)
Edit #2: I HAVE mirrors for the bike, just realized I forgot to put them on, haha.
