Had the pleasure of running this bike through the latter half of the 2018 track season. This bike is better than me, and I’ll miss it...but on to the next adventure. Here are the details, nothing more than a slightly updated version of what SpeedyCorky posted (http://bayarearidersforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=524627).
2008 Yamaha R6 trackbike, out of state title;
Jeff Beaubier owned bike (top racer family, this was their B bike); and,
Ezra rode it and Jeff (his dad) tells me that Ezra was pulling 1:50's at ThunderHill East on this baby (it seems everyone but me know Ezra and Jeff).
This bike was owned, built and maintained by the Beaubier family, then through SpeedyCorky, which means he went through it with a fine tooth comb and walked me through how it was fully maintained, with all OE hardware that matches and fits perfectly, and how not a thing is wrong with this bike - there isn’t!
He says, and many at K@TT and PTT agree (they have told me, many times) you will not find a more solid R6 trackbike. PERIOD.
Mods:
* Ohlins front fork internals (very recently serviced)
* Ohlins rear TTX shock (very recently serviced)
* front wave/floating rotors (SK brand)
* Bazza engine management with GP quickshifter and Traction Control
* Full Graves exhaust
* Race ECU
* Scotts steering damper
* larger aftermarket racing radiator+guard (runs 15 to 20 degrees cooler!)
* stainless steel brake lines
* slipper clutch (? feels like it does!)
* Vortex V3 levers (new)
* Vortex rearsets
* Vortex clip ons
* Vortex case slider (left)
* captive rear caliper setup (makes removing/installing the rear wheel much easier)
* Dion Device front brake lever guard
* fiberglass fairings with beautiful paint
* 90 degree valve stems
* carbon fiber chain guard
* 520 chain
* lightweight rear brake rotor
* swingarm spools
* fully safety wired
* battery tender plug in
* oil+filter changed after each K@TT event (3 days, B- pace)
Stock motor/internals, full OEM harness intact, but not sure that matters given this is a READY TO RUN track bike 100%.
Will provide spare levers (the ones I removed), a set of Vesrah XX pads, and two K&N oil filters.
THill prep pic...
In-between sessions at THill...
Asking SOLD - no more, no less. Thanks!
