2007 Triumph T100 advice, please!

I have a 2007 T100, bought new in 2008. It now has 55,000 mostly happy miles on it. After (expensively) replacing a lot of the electrical system, the bike runs great, does not seem to be burning oil. It is a good ergonomic fit for me.

BUT- (1) I like to go touring and am concerned that I will have some sort of failure 23 miles East of Last Chance, Idaho.

AND: If I do end up getting a later model T100:

(2) Will the 2007 centerstand fit a 2013-2014 T100?

How hard is it to get the centerstand off and onto the replacement bike? Do I need any special tools?

Those are great bikes! Not too many problems, from my experience. The occasional pick-up sensor or stator/regulator replacement. If you haven't ever had to replace a fork seal, I think you'd be happy with a fork oil change and other bits like wheel bearings and steering bearings might be getting a little wild in there.

As far as that center stand goes, it should fit the newer one and if I recall it's just a pain to reach the inner nuts.

Since I am a newbie, I can't access messages. I think one of the moderators sent you my email. Would like you to evaluate 2007 bike.
