I have owned this bike for just under 4 years and put approximately 50k miles on the bike--currently at ~61k miles. The bike has been supremely reliable from the first day I picked it up and continues to be the most dependable bike I've owned. I have religiously maintained the chain and sprockets and performed oil changes at 3-5k miles. The last chain and sprockets lasted over 40k miles! The bike currently has a practically brand new 520 sprocket and DID chain set. All valve adjustments have been performed by Suzuki Van Nuys.
Recently took the bike up to Bishop and Bridgeport for some adventure riding and moderate off-roading and it performed great. I also have a set of Michelin Road 5 Trail Tires that I took off that can be mounted if the buyer is not looking to take the bike off-road.
No, not the prettiest bike as it has been my workhorse bike for all conditions--off-road, rain, some snow--but I am still pleasantly surprised when I take the bike up Angeles Crest Highway at how well it rails around the corners when on decent road tires (the Michelins are definitely a great handling tire but their longevity is what really sold me on them.. the Pirelli Angels feel the absolute best followed by the Metzler Roadtec in terms of pure canyon carving).
Perfect for anyone looking for a reliable commuter or an adventure bike they can actually enjoy without worrying about a tip-over. Bike has a large Givi top case, a couple smaller Givi side cases, battery tender, and well-worn Oxford heated grips.
Clean title, pink slip in hand, and registration good til October 2021. Text with any questions--Shawn 714-707-3081. Bike located in San Gabriel Valley in Socal.
