SOLD!
2006 Kawasaki ZX-10R
$2,800
82,300 miles
I bought this bike new in December 2007. It’s been my daily commuter ever since, and it’s been such a great bike. I’ve taken great care of it, but it does have a lot of miles now, so I’m selling at a low price.
The bike is almost totally stock except for a few changes for better braking & commuting. The miles are from my commute from Livermore to SF – so it’s almost exclusively freeway use, with about 4 trackdays thrown in. This has been the best bike I’ve ever owned. It hurts to write this ad!
Some details:
Maintained extremely well. I’m a former auto racing mechanic, and the guy I take it to for suspension work is a former moto racer & mechanic & moto design engineer.
Always synthetic oil. Bleed brakes regularly. Lube chain regularly.
Color: “Solar Yellow” – it’s more orange than yellow. Very nice metallic color, and the black frame has a slight metallic as well. I still get compliments on this bike!
Never down.
Had the forks professionally re-furbished about a year ago – they are in great shape
ZX-14R front calipers (really improved braking)
Added a voltage monitor to watch charging system
Double bubble windscreen
Mirror extenders
Tires right now are Dunlop GPAs in great shape
Storage for most of its life has been a garage at home and work.
Some issues that you’ll notice:
Tail color is faded, small crack under left front turn signal from a tie-down snapping on a trailer (you can see it in the left side picture), kickstand-down switch isn’t working.
I can show you the bike in Livermore or San Francisco or places in-between on weekdays after work.
PM me or call/text: (408) Eight Two Nine – Four Seven Six Two.
