The Motorcycle Fairy
Sold
I'm selling my Ninja 250. I purchased this for my wife and our roommate to learn on and to take their DMV test and safety course and it has served us well, allowing the two of them to pass and receive their license. We've had it for about 3 months now and I've been using it to commute from Fremont to San Jose on 880 and are now looking to upgrade to something a bit heavier.
The bike has been dropped on both sides cracking the front body fairings but has been welded and reinforced. The previous owner drilled holes to hold it together via zip ties before properly fixing it. Kind of rough looking but not too bad. The front fender had missing pieces so was reinforced and filled with ABS liquid to fill in the broken off missing areas and has been painted over. Windshield was broken as well but was glued and welded back together. Not the most cosmetically pretty bike but still in Ok condition and perfect for a beginner not worried about keeping it shiny while learning.
Mechanically in great condition, no frame damage or engine damage, the drops have occurred at low speed and the main fairing took the brunt of it. Pretty much what you'd expect of a bike for learners. Have not even put 1000 miles on it since owning it. The previous owner had the oil changed, carbs synced, and a maintenance check at Spec-1 racing in San Jose before selling the bike to us and rides very well. Tires have plenty of tread as well.
Here are the details:

Kawasaki Ninja 250

Bike is stock with no modification aside from the fixes to the cracked fairings and windshield. Fires right up and ready for a test ride with cash in hand.
