SOLD.
I bought a new bike so I'm selling my commuter SV650. Bought it five years ago from Motojava and used it for almost daily commuting plus some weekend stints on the twisties. It currently has 20147 miles on it.
Bike has been kept in the garage when not used and all the maintenance was done on time. Things like oil, brakes or tires I did myself, things that were more complex I sent it to the mechanic for. Just got it from Performance Motorcycles where they changed coolant, flushed rear brake and oiled/tensioned the chain.
The good:
* Custom handlebar which is slightly higher and wider then the original, makes for a more comfortable position on longer rides.
* Small windscreen
* Delkevic pipe
* Custom levers
* Tail tidy
* Frame sliders and swingarm spools
The bad:
* Fuel level sensor is acting out - sometimes it doesn't light up when the fuel is low. I worked around that by resetting trip every time I fuel up and refuel every 90 miles or so.
* The bike was dropped once while parked, so the part of the gear shifter that sticks perpendicular to the body of the bike, the one you hit with your foot to shift, is slightly bent. Doesn't affect shifting in any way.
Sale price is $2700 OBO. If you buy t I can throw in a Haynes manual for it.
Bike is in Berkeley, test ride with cash in hand and valid M1.
