If you know much about these cars, you already know what you're looking at. The GT Wagon with a manual transmission is very hard to find. According to production numbers, approximately 50 of these cars in the Garnet Red Pearl color were brought to the US in 2005 - the only year they were available with the manual transmission. This is the only one currently for sale in California.
Odometer reads just over 147,000 miles. Car is only driven once a week, give or take, as I got a new vehicle.
The car has been very slightly and very tastefully modified for reliability and to avoid certain known issues with the 2.5T motor.
- Enkei 17x7.5" wheels with Hankook Ventus V2 tires 215/45/17
- Set of the original OEM 17" wheels with nearly new Blizzak snow tires in the same size
- JDM tail lights
- Hella super-tone horns with proper wiring/relays.
Suspension modifications:
- Epic springs with Koni yellow struts -- these have started to exhibit the "squeak" that is apparently common with Epic Springs made for Wagons. I have 2 pairs of Tein Spring Silencers that have not been installed yet that are included with the sale.
- Whiteline caster-adjusting lower control arm bushings
- Whiteline roll-center correction front ball joins and outer tie rods.
- Urethane sway bar bushings
Performance modifications:
- Cobb Accessport v2 -- currently on stock tune for smog
- Cobb 3" downpipe with high-flow cat -- currently stock DP installed for smog purposes
- OEM Subaru catless up-pipe from a later model legacy/wrx
It's a great car. There was some bodywork done to it, the fender, fender liner, and headlight on the drivers side were replaced due to being scraped up by another vehicle in a parking lot. Work was done by a professional shop.
The hood and parts of the front bumper have the typical Subaru paint specks and the rear bumper has a couple scrapes. There are a few nicks here and there, one door ding on the passenger side that I tried to document in the photos, but overall it's in really good shape for being a 15 year old car.
Car has a clean title, I have the pink slip in my name in hand.
Craigslist asking price is 8K. Wiggle room for a BARFer. Donation to the forum if sold here, etc etc.
