We have not yet confirmed all the dates because we are waiting on the yearly karter meeting so they can hash out all their event dates. We should have our whole calender by Dec. 1st if not sooner. It looks like about 9 events with possibly 2 endurance races, one of which will probably be at night.

Stay tuned.......

Matt,

This is what I posted on our group. Please look at our dates and see which one could be added to your shedule for points. And let me know one when we can go down and race with you guys. Looking for a rematch and great racing.

To all mini racers,

I'm exited to present this preliminary schedule for the upcoming 05 season. As you may have already heard, we will have motorcycle only weekends and that includes Friday, Saturday practice and race on Sunday with as many classes we can come up with. I have contacted the Scooter club as well as the CB160 club and they look forward to race with us as well as the pocket bike club. It should be a lot of fun and a great program and hopefully there will be more people migrating from the pocket bikes to minis as a natural progression on their way to AMA and maybe Moto GP. I have head from Ozzi that Mario has purchased 2 metrakit bike for little Mario and this shows the level of commitment that some of the parents are bringing to this program. I am certain than all of us will make this program a fun one and a model for some of the young talent that will be coming trough the ranks. Having said that, lets all keep the politics to a minimum and have a great season with friendly, clean racing and great camaraderie.

1) March 25,26 27
2) April 8,9,10
3) May 27,28,29
4) Jun 10,11,12
5) July 22,23,24
6) August 26,27,28
7) Sep 9,10,11 Not confirmed
8) Oct 14,15,16 Not confirmed

This are only the "motorcycle only" dates at Mactrak. I will later add combine dates with carts as well as some dates a Pats and Stockton. The fee structure has not yet been determined. Pops is making an effort to keep the cost down and draw as many people as possible. We will also need volunteers for corner workers and score keepers. As you can see, we have a great season ahead of us and once I have the confirmed dates I will post them on the website. I will make a new flyer to be downloaded of the website, please down load and distribute to your local shops and see if they would like to get involved with any level of sponsorship.

Please let me know of any comments or suggestions or if you would like to help in any way.

Thanks,

Julio Paredes

Hi Julio,

Our (SMRRC) 2005 schedule is still pending as the Stockton track is in very high demand and we still await a few straglers for date confirmation. As I posted above, It should be ready by Dec. 1st. as well as our rules package for the year. I will take a look at the dates and try and find one that does not conflct (probably in the summer, maybe June as our track is closed) for our West coast championships swing. I still have yet to mention this to our members but I'm sure it's something that a lot of folks would be interedted in.

As we spoke the last time you were down. The idea, if I'm correct, was to have a west coast championship where members from participating clubs compete for a west coast title. Whether it's pocket bikes, 80's, YSR's or what ever, each club will hold a race as part of a mini championship series, be it at 2 or 3 different tracks on the west coast to crown each champion. Sounds like fun to me.

I'll keep you posted

Matt

Where is Mactrak? Is there a web for it?

Thanks,

Mactrack is in McMinnville, Oregon. This is our club website. www.ysrracing.com and I have attached an areal shot of the track. Hope to see you guys here this summer.
