It is ok to pay more for a bike that has had all of the maintenance work done to it recently, or pay less and get a bike that needs some work, but you must know this in advance and be ok with it.
    • Inspecting the bike: if you are not experienced yourself, have a mechanic or an experienced friend check the bike before making a purchase. Crashed bikes:This is even more important if you are buying a bike that is being sold at a cheaper price with damages that the buyer is required to fix. In these cases, doing a frame check that will show any frame/fork/geometry damages is HIGHLY recommended. Do NOT simply rely on the information that the seller is providing, even he/she may not be aware of all the problems. Have the crashed bike checked and know what you are getting into.
    • Clean title, Salvage title A clean title doesn't mean the bike is free of serious issues. A Salvaged title doesn't mean the bike may have any problems. Every case is different. Some bikes are seriously damaged in a crash, but an insurance claim is never made on them, so they still have a clean title. Some bikes have had mostly cosmetic damages in a crash, but the insurance company decided to pay off the bike and salvage the title rather than spending the money to fix it. Know what you are getting into and don't make any assumptions based on what the seller is telling you.
    • Registration: Know about the current registration status of the bike. Check with DMV if you have any questions about any possible back fees and other title/registration questions (out of state title, no title with bill of sales only, etc.) before purchasing the bike.

I am selling my 2004 corvette coupe. It has 53xxx miles on it and it is in good condition, this car has been my pride and joy since the day I bought it and it was a early 19th birthday gift to myself, sadly I hardly drive it due to having another vehicle and it just sits at my parents house. The car has never been tracked but it has been driven like a vette, however I have taken care of it. I have a folder full of service record/recites and also recites for the most of the mods on the car.

Info on the car:

LS1
4 speed auto
F55 suspension/magnetic ride control
It has the preferred equipment group:
Memory package, heads up display etc.

Car's history:

I bought the car with 15818 miles on March of 2010 from the second owner of the car. The car was originally from Minnesota and the original owner traded it in to a ford dealership. The second owner's wife worked at the same dealership and bought it and sold it in about a year.

The car was bone stock when I bought it, over the last few years I have slightly modified it, but as I like to say it's all show and no go. All the mods are for aesthetics/looks.

Mods:

-It has C5zo6 rims, I believe the rears are OEM zo6 wheels and the front are replicas, I bought them from a forum member and I have reciepts for the wheels along with the powder coating that was done.
-Borla S type exhaust, again bought off the forum and installed by forum member ryan/dodgecharger69
-zo6 style front grille
-tinted rear windows
-RedLloyd mat
-West coast corvette fender stripes
-Wet Okole Red Seat covers
-JW Motoring HID kit

Like I said, car is all show and no go lol

July 17th 2010: 19743 miles done by me
December 3rd 2010: 24321 miles done by me
May 19th 2011: 29886 miles, done by a local shop where I take my cars normally.
December 1st 2011: 34821 miles, done by me
July 31st 2012: 40269 miles, done by me
February 2nd 2013: 45321 miles, done by me

Coolant: January 21st 2013 at 43820 miles done by Alameda Auto Care

Transmission Fluid/Filter/Gasket, and Brake Fluid Flush: September 10th 2012 at 41168 miles, done by my friend who is a ASE certifed mechanic at Ken Betts Service Center located at 4150 Redwood Rd in Oakland.

There was Another Brake Fluid flush done by me around 35000 miles or so.

Now the Bad:
Needs new front tire ASAP
It was a daily driver for over 4 years, and it looks like one, it could use a nice detailing by someone good, it has lots of swirl marks and water spots.
The rear rim is scuffed up a little from rubbing against the curb, you can see it on one of the pictures.

I also have a extra set of brake rotors that I will give you with the car, I bought it with plans of tracking the car but then I discovered motorcycles and doing trackdays on bikes :rock:

This car is no garage queen, if that is what you are looking for then this car is not for you, it has been my DD and has rock chips and etc but it is a perfect running car that needs nothing other than new front tires and will make a great DD for someone else. KBB has value of good condition at 20,800, I am taking out 800 for the new front tires that are needed and asking 20k. I feel as if this is a fair price and please don't waste my time or yours if you plan to low ball me, I am firm on the price.

I will trade for C5z06 with money added on my end.

Hey have you tried carmax i was trying to sell my 2012 mb c250 and no luck since where i live not to popular drove to sd and got all the money for it i got 24000 i was trying to get 22000 since my local dealer shipmoffer me only 17000 fugers ) i have no relation with does guys but i thought it was cool the only problem they gave me a draft check meaning i had to deposit to my bank ( uncasheble check) and it took 7 days to clear but its all good with does guys glws

How does Carmax work? I just take them the car and they offer me something for it? Do they give KBB trade in value or does it vary car by car?
