My down deposit is set for the Africa twin and wife says this needs to go in order to make room. I crashed the bike at thunder hill on turn 11 somehow? I don't remember anything and this was in April. I haven't ridden since I have been recooperating. There is probably $750 worth of repairs needed but all not necessary. This made a very enjoyable track/road bike. I bought it from a dude here and received it with he following mods:
hlins 25mm kit installed by Super Plush Suspension (Dave Sidall). Since then Dave Moss has rebuilt the forks with lighter oil. Magic. Handling at high speeds is nothing short of amazing. Very well balanced. And I am no slouch on the track.
Leo Vince Full Ti Big Pipe Exhaust
Amauri did the flywheel mod and removed O2 sensor after exhaust installed (flywheel mod is removing the weight from it. motor spins up much faster. been that way for a long time and zero vibration issues or problems)
Mapped and dynoed by Ricky Corey (#1 AFM)
PCIII
Robby Moto Rearsets. Shifts like butter
Motion Pro Revolver (4 cams for different throttle rates)
SBS Carbon pads
All connectors, sensors, etc. updated.
Stock tank swelled so its been replaced and also installed a newer fuel pump. At that time I replaced the stock hoses inside.
Evo Air Box
Renthal Clip Ons
Brembo Billet Clutch Master with folding lever
Motul RBF600 hydraulic fluids
Dynojet tension style quick shifter
AFAM sprockets (16/44) and latest and greatest D.I.D. chain. Top of the line.
Oil Tank Brazed by Noel (AF1 Forum expert and certified welder extrodinaire. Stock oil tanks tended to develop leaks)
Low Temp Thermostat
Mercedes Engine Case Oil Drain Plug with Hex Head and Magnetic!
Since then, I replaced the stator, regular oil changes, had the fork and rear shock fluids relaxed and serviced.
Bike has about 26k miles but the odo has been reset just like every other Aprilia
Repairs needed:
Rear brake master cylinder (pin flew out)
New right Robby Moto rear set needed
Right clipon needed
New windscreen
New brake lever
New right fairing.
Scuffs on the right pipe
The only thing it needs to be rideable is a rear master cylinder repair.
Unknown:
For some reason the bike very slowly loses hydraulic clutch fluids. I can't figure it out. It doesn't visibly leak anywhere.
I would LIKE to get $4k for it as its not that bad. I can put a new windscreen brake lever on it and fix the rear master if that will mean a sale.
Call or text for more info.
I'll post more pics tomorrow as my phone is on 7%!
