I have a spare tank from my 1994 M900 (carb'd) for sale. This is the original tank from my bike that has 93K miles on it. The tank has been dented a couple of times from two parking tips and was repaired and repainted twice as a result. The last time I had it done, the decals were on back order so I got updated ones, which I regret, and that's why I have another tank on my bike now. The bike has fallen over a number of times while parked but it only had dents from those two tips. It has also gone down at speed a couple of times, but the tank sliders saved it from any severe damage and it didn't require repairing. This is a daily rider, but the bike has always been stored in a garage, rarely outside. The tank doesn't leak from the hinge, and it has a very handy valve for turning off the supply of gas at the base of it when you're working on the bike. The tank doesn't come with the tank prop or the gas cap. It has all the other bits and they're in decent condition. The inside of the tank appears to be in good condition. The metal is discolored, but it's not rust--or so I was told. It's smooth--doesn't feel lumpy like rust and it doesn't come off on my hand. This thing isn't pristine, but it's not beat to hell either. Asking $195, because that sounds a little better than $200, but I don't want this sitting around in my garage forever either, so I'll entertain offers. It was completely emptied and has been stored in a dry place for the past several weeks. If you want additional photos of anything, let me know. I'm in Oakland, but will deliver for a small fee commensurate with distance and hassle.
