Mileage is closer to 195K now. It’s a great ride. I’m only selling because I got a new Accord coupe. I have all the receipts since I got the car at 120K miles. It recently had the very expensive timing belt replacement, valve adjustment, plugs and wires, and shocks. If you change the oil regularly this car will do 300K no problem.
Blue book is $4000. Selling cheap because of the following minor problems:
Someone tried to break into the passenger’s side door, so the handle is a little loose and there is a gap below where the handle attaches to the door. This happened after the pics were taken.
There is a small dent in the hood which is shown in the pictures.
Cruise control doesn’t work.
Lastly, I do not have the title. When the leinholder was removed, I applied for a new title from the DMV. It turns out, in an act of typical bureaucratic incompetence they, mailed it to another address and it will take at least another 3 months to get a duplicate title issued. I don’t feel like waiting for a new one and I found out that I can sell the vehicle without the title since the lien holder has been removed. The buyer and seller just have to fill out DMV Form 227, Transfer of Title with Duplicate Title. In addition I can also provide, a photocopy of the old title with the lien holders name still on it and a copy of the notarized notice of lien satisfied. Lastly, the prospective buyer can and should contact the DMV and check to see that the title is clean and in my name before buying the car.
Might consider trade for the right motorbike.
